Field Medical Manager

What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources effectively, and provide guidance within the Department.
  • Apply skills and discipline knowledge to contribute to departmental work, making decisions to resolve moderately complex problems and develop new options.
  • Operate independently in ambiguous situations, receiving instruction on unusual or complex problems, and determining objectives of assignments.
  • Review your own work, seek directional review from others, and mentor colleagues by reviewing their work.
  • Utilize judgment and experience to potentially become a resource for others, delivering high-level medical and scientific expertise to stakeholders.
  • Offer medical and scientific inputs for the development of launch plans, plans of action (POAs), and activities for responsible products.
  • Advise on scientific areas for organizing major symposia and medical advisory board meetings, and support medical issues related to responsible products.
  • Contribute to the development of hospital formulary listing packages and ensure appropriate training on medical aspects of products and related diseases.
  • Provide medical information, comments, advice, and recommendations to internal and external colleagues, staying updated on local medical regulation changes.
  • Offer expertise to cross-geography medical projects, prepare study protocols and budgets, execute studies, complete reports, and provide input on program feasibility and Adverse Event reports.

Qualification
  • Medical Degree (M.D., MBBS or equivalent) or Advanced degree in Medical Sciences e.g. Pharmacy, Life Sciences e.g. Pharmacy or related field
  • Good medical and scientific knowledge for the defined therapeutic area(s)
  • Good understanding about the International and local pharmaceutical business and marketing practices
  • Good understanding of the local medical and regulatory environment
  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in relevant medical, research & developemnt functions
  • Proficiency in English and good computer usage
