Contract Manager

Mission:

  • The primary mission of the Contract Manager is to ensure seamless contract management and the smooth delivery of sales and services to nuclear projects, with a strong emphasis on efficient project management, risk mitigation and timely money collection.


Key responsibilities

Contract Management & Delivery:

  • Oversee Nuclear Project Lifecycle: Lead the end-to-end management of nuclear projects, from start to end of execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Contract Management: Administer and oversee contracts with key account customers, particularly with Russian partners, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
  • Resource Allocation: Evaluate and validate with concerned General Managers (Country and Nuclear) the needs to assign Project Managers and AFS engineers to specific nuclear projects, balancing workloads and optimizing resource use.
  • Delivery Prioritization: Manage and prioritize delivery schedules in coordination with Business Operations Manager, making critical decisions when customer expectations cannot be fully met, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Key Account Management, Order Management & Client Relations: Oversee the entire order process, including proactively anticipating client needs to ensure timely fulfillment and addressing operational challenges. Effectively manage escalations and navigate complexities to ensure client satisfaction and project success.


Financial Management:

  • Money Collection: Drive aggressive money collection efforts, implement measures to ensure timely payments, and make critical decisions regarding delivery stoppages in line with group policy.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Challenge sales forecasts regularly, ensuring accuracy and alignment with budget.
  • Capital Expenditure Control: Review and validate nuclear site equipment Capex proposals submitted by General Managers, ensuring they align with project and contract requirements.


Product Development & Engineering:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and coordinate the study and implementation of Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Product Development Requests (PDR) proposed by the General Manager, Nuclear.


Leadership & Communication:

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all nuclear project stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring transparency in project status and decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree or higher in civil engineering and/or Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA)
  • Minimum 10 years+ experience in contract management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex contracts, particularly with international stakeholders.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale engineering projects (nuclear, oil and gas, defense…), including resource allocation, risk management, and schedule adherence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Russian is a plus, given the nature of key account management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite with the ability to create complex reports, presentations, and analyses that support effective decision-making.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially in managing contracts, financials, and supply chain.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and sales processes.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, including cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting, particularly related to Capex and P&L management.
  • Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
