PMO Lead (Transformation)

The PMO Lead is responsible for establishing and maintain the project management infrastructure and governance for all transformation-related projects. This role focuses on setting standards, processes, and tools that ensure consistency and efficiency in managing transformation initiatives. They provide oversight and support to all project managers within the transformation office, ensuring that projects adhere to established methodologies and align with the organization’s transformation goals.


Main responsibilities:


•Governance and Standards: Developing and implementing project management standards, methodologies, and best practices specifically tailored to transformation projects. This includes creating templates, tools, and guidelines to support project managers.


•Reporting and Analytics: Developing and maintaining reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into the status and performance of transformation projects across the portfolio. This includes creating dashboards and metrics to support decision-making.


•Support TO meetings & pre-assigned workstreams:


•Before the meeting: pull financial and action dashboards, write TO comments on pre-read/presentation consolidated materials, issue meeting materials and brief CTO on issues/update (as needed), support Workstream Leaders to prepare key updates to TO, coordinate with Initiative Owners to attend & prepare updates, bottleneck, & help needed (if workstream is requested by TO to present key initiative deep-dive/follow-up from previous weekly TO meeting)


•During the meeting: prepare dial in and run presentation, track, consolidate, and captures all action items from meeting


•After the meeting: send out action trackers and update actions, follow up with workstream & initiative owners on actions and ensure they are executed, provide recurring (fortnightly/monthly) overall TO program & Workstream progress updates to Workstream Sponsor (as needed)


•Run the overall culture transformation & change management program


•Ideate, design and help to execute culture transformation & change mgt. program, e.g., nominate change leaders/champions to be featured, share inspirational change stories


•Assists in troubleshooting PMO tool Wave / Centrally-led performance management systems


•Unify and standardize inputs across workstreams; acts as a central coordination role


•Address Wave workspace questions/requests and works with IT department to close Wave inquiries


Skills:

  • Requires experience in project and program management, with a focus on executing complex initiatives.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects are keys.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to work collaboratively across different function is also important.
  • Strong standing and good network within the organization
  • Positive and proactive process management with an eye for detail and a strong ownership mentality
  • Ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
  • Excellent command of English & Thai
