Job Description:
As a Management System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our laptop endpoint monitoring tool. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems. Your expertise in Grafana, PowerShell, Shell Script, and SQL will be crucial in optimizing our monitoring and management processes.
In this Role, you will get to:
- Configure, implement, and maintain Telegraf & OTEL collector
- Develop, maintain and update Grafana dashboards
- Create and update database queries using multiple data sources
- Automate tasks and processes using scripting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance
- Work with teams to gather dashboard requirements and required metrics
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures
What You'll need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science /Information Systems/Engineering/related field
- 1+ years of experience in Data engineering
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining dashboards and visualizations using Grafana
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Shell Script
- Experience with SQL or other database query language
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
It's great if you have:
- Experience with Loki LogQL for log querying.
- Knowledge of PromQL for Prometheus monitoring.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
- Understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID/Intune and Jamf.
- Experience in Management System Development/Integration role.
