Implementation Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Implementation Engineer ensures the successful deployment and integration of Amadeus products in customer environment. This role requires strong technical skills and experience in implementation processes, managing both new and existing projects, and supporting the technical team. Implementation Engineer will be analyzing customer systems, identifying actions for product integration, managing integration schedules, and documenting necessary adaptations.

Implementation Engineer will write and verify functional specifications, ensure customized solutions meet requirements, perform tests before delivery, and provide functional support and problem resolution during implementation. Also to understand the Amadeus business, work with existing procedures, provide input for area decisions, and propose improvements with moderate guidance from the manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implementation & Technical Support:

• Ensure the successful deployment of Amadeus products in customer environment
• Complete implementation processes and Implement strategies to facilitate smooth product integration.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of implementation projects.
• Create client-specific implementation plans using available templates and software.
• Conduct workshops with customers to facilitate the implementation of Amadeus systems.
• Enhance products to improve accessibility and usability of our systems.
• Investigating assigned queries or escalations and support customer on a timely manner
• Work with Product Managers to discuss product features and ensure the enhancement of new features is live and supported.

• Administrative:

• Manage project pipeline opportunities within Salesforce and forecast implementation timelines accurately.
• Update Salesforce with project details and activity logs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in an Implementation, integration or Technical Project Management or any other relevant role
• Good understanding of the Airline or Travel industry is highly regarded but not mandatory
• Knowledge in Programming or Scripting Language Computer Networking, Firewall setup, or server-side configurations is highly regarded, but not mandatory
• Ability manages multiple projects simultaneously and meets deadlines.
• Strong technical and clear communication skills.
• Ability to propose innovative solutions and new working methods.
• Works autonomously and makes decisions based on informed judgment.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment across multiple regions/countries.
• Relevant degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related field.
