About the role

Berli Jucker Public Company Limited is seeking a talented Legal Affairs Specialist to join our dynamic team in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal support and guidance to our growing organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of retail business commercial contracts and agreements
• Advising on corporate and commercial legal matters to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Providing legal support for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic initiatives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks
• Researching and staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Assisting with the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures
• Mentoring and guiding junior legal professionals as required

Qualifications

• Degree in Law with 8+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate and commercial law
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
• Solid understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Proficient in Thai and English, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with the legal landscape in Thailand and the ASEAN region
