Senior Process Engineer
atThe Shell Company of Thailand Limited (SCOT)Location: Bangkok.
Responsibilities
- Handling documents & drawings related to Front-End Engineering and Detailed Engineering Design as per project requirements.
- Prepare Process documents such as Design Basis, Control and Shutdown Philosophy, Operation Manual.
- Prepare and / or verify engineering calculations such as line sizing, equipment / instrument sizing, process datasheet, line list, Hazardous Substances Release Schedule, Relief / Vent Load Estimation, utility requirements, Flare Radiation, Gas Dispersion, Thermal Rating, Surge Analysis etc.
- Prepare and / or verify process drawings such as P&IDs, PFDs, UFDs, C&E Drawings etc.
- Execute safety studies such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, EERA, ESSA, SIL etc.
- Experienced with various standards such as API, ANSI, Shell DEPs, TOTAL GS.
- Site survey and Site Acceptance Test as required.
- Support/Lead project team during execution.
- Manage interdisciplinary activities – with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil & Structural Engineers.
- Engineering Management expertise in multi-disciplinary engineering departments, manpower and resource planning, project scheduling and planning, budget preparation and cost control.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Senior Process Engineer, OR Lead Process Engineer, OR Engineering Manager at an EPC/engineering firm.
- Process Design for Refinery Units such as CDU, VDU, Naphtha Splitter, Hydrocracker, Visbreaker, LPG/Kerosene Merox, CCR Platformer, H¬2 Reforming, Amine Treatment Unit, Sour Water Stripper, Sulfur Recovery, Offsites, Utilities (Cooling Water, Steam, Instrument Air, Nitrogen etc.), Oil Movement and Storage.
- Process Design Experience in Upstream Oil and Gas Processing Plants (both Onshore and Offshore) such as Wellheads, Central Processing Units, H2S Removal Units, Hg Removal Units, Gas Drying, Dew Point Control Units, Compression Facilities, Associated Utilities.
- Proficiency in various process design software such as Hysys, PROII with Provision, PipeSim, Flarenet, FlareSim etc.
- Location: Bangkok or Rayong.
