You Will
- Responsible for managing the import process to ensure all imports are handles efficiently and in compliance with international and domestic regulations
- Supervise for efficient working of import team and day to day operation and manage all communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Meet and exceed operational budget within agreed timescales, while improving or maintaining current margin to be achieved by monitoring
- Analyze Import cost and be involved in setting target with manager
- Measure and report all operational issues, opportunities, development plan, achievements and providing progress reports to manager on a monthly basis
- Liaise with freight forwarder and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate import/export process
- Develop and maintain relationships with customs authorities and other relevant organizations.
- Collaborate and support zone team on project and any new requirement to improve and develop Import & Export business
- Prepare and submit required reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 4 years managerial experience in import, customs brokerage, or compliance required
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance processes
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce, manage and maintain budget
- Strong negotiation and entrepreneurship with a positive mindset
- Good in English communication both speaking and written
- Proficient in MS Office particular in Excel and Power point
