Senior Manager - Investment
atCP Axtra PCL
To provide the investment advice and analysis service to ensure that the Company’s investment, particularly on the business expansion, are safe and sound.
- To support Company’s expansion and investment aspiration in term of both strategy and financial analysis.
- Responsible for end-to-end process for investment analysis function to support management decision.
- Project management to ensure all deliverables are completed per prescribed deadlines in a proper, accurate and technically sound manner.
- Lead a team to prepare investment analysis and to provide development support i.e. strategic approach, coaching, resource planning, etc.
- Gather information and data related to new investment project, conduct independent research to determine appropriate benchmarks and internal/external business and financial factors to arrive at sound business assumptions.
- Assess and interpret complicated financial information.
- Liase with management at all level in other disciplines such as Operation, Customer Development, Commercial, Construction, IT to gain support on business and financial targets as well as obtaining required information.
- Develop and maintain financial model(s) to for store expansion, acquisition and other investment projects to arrive at conventional project return analysis i.e. NPV, IRR, Payback period, etc.
- Prepare analysis report(s) and proposal document/presentation(s) with recommendation for management decision and also prepare proposal legal board approval.
- Regularly meeting with investment analysts and concerned parties to discuss financial matters.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the current economy, current financial news and financial markets of the Country and business cases/locations to be invested.
- Keeping knowledge up-to-date about the current economy, current financial news and financial markets of the Country and location to be invested.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA designation preferred).
- At least 7-10 years in investment management or related roles, with a proven track record of successful portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership abilities and the capacity to manage and mentor a team.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools.
- Good presentation skills
