AI - Project Management Officer (PMO)

The AI Project Management Officer (PMO) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the project management infrastructure and governance. This role ensures that projects are executed efficiently, meet established standards, and align with the organization’s strategic goals. The PMO is responsible for implementing and enforcing methodologies, tools, and processes that ensure consistent and successful delivery of projects, while providing oversight and support to project managers.


  • Develop and implement project management standards, methodologies, and best practices tailored to projects.
  • Create and maintain templates, tools, and guidelines to support project managers and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support project meetings, prepare and present materials, track action items, and ensure follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate project updates and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring alignment between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure effective communication across various teams.
  • Oversee the throughput of multiple projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Facilitate the definition of service levels, business requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Support the integration of new systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any challenges during change management.
  • Analyze KPIs and continuously drive business integration and process improvements


Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management especially in AI projects, with a focus on executing complex transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate across different functions to achieve project goals.
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including budget management, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, lead cross-functional teams, and manage both strategic and operational elements of projects.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose actionable solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
