Responsibilities
- Oversee overall accounting and finance activities and report to the CFO.
- Be in charge of reporting standards, accounting and finance operations, financial planning and analysis and business support.
- Be responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. This includes management reporting such as variance analysis, profitability analysis / reports and other reports as needed.
- Lead the monthly and annual closing activities.
- Work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to provide support on figures and finance-related matters.
- Improve accuracy, productivity, efficiency of reporting and accounting operations and processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business procedures and accounting policies to implement and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met (e.g. audits, tax filing, VAT filing and submission.
- Act as Business Partner, provide support and financial advice to management.
- Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related area.
- Minimum 8 years of experience proven in accounting, finance and controllership.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with knowledge of Thailand accounting standards.
- Experience working in listed companies, Big 4 or PAEs.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized and able to work independently.
- Leadership mindset, team management experience with great interpersonal skills.
- Good English communication skills both written and spoken.
- Good computer skills on Google Suite or MS Office and Excel.
- Experience with Xero, Dext, Harvest, and Fathom are a plus.
