Position overview
Overseeing the planning, implementation, and management of Point of Sale (POS) systems across more than 2,000 retail branches. This role involves strategic planning, solution development, team management, and ensuring the POS systems operate efficiently to support the retail business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
   • Develop and implement strategies for POS system enhancements and deployments.
   • Oversee the lifecycle of POS systems, including installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
   • Ensure alignment of POS solutions with overall business objectives and retail strategies.
2. Solution Development and Implementation:
   • Evaluate and select appropriate POS solutions and vendors.
   • Lead the design, testing, and deployment of POS systems and related technologies.
   • Ensure POS systems are integrated with other business systems (e.g., inventory management, CRM).
3. Team Leadership and Management:
   • Build, lead, and mentor a team responsible for POS system support and operations.
   • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
   • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
4. Operational Management:
   • Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of all POS systems nationwide.
   • Develop and implement policies and procedures for POS system usage and troubleshooting.
   • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations related to POS systems.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, operations, finance) to ensure POS systems meet business needs.
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and service providers.
   • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on POS system performance and initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:
   • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
   • Minimum of 10 years of experience in POS system management, Infrastructure or ERP System
   • Experience in the retail industry, particularly with large-scale operations, is a plus
2. Technical Skills:
   • In-depth knowledge of POS systems, hardware, and software.
   • Experience with POS system integration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
   • Familiarity with retail management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
3. Leadership and Management Skills:
   • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team.
   • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
   • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Other Competencies:

Working Day: Mon-Fri (WFA every friday)
