Job Purpose:
Lead Distribution Services Strategic Projects as Product Owner. Be a central role to help the business needs and manage the demands of fast-moving environments. Help the business owner to become digital leaders by creating strategic, cross-company approaches that increase productivity, enhance collaboration and drive more transactions through innovative services and business modes, also include some project manager responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business managers, and the development team to make sure the goals are clear, and the vision is aligned with business objectives.
• Create the list of backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
• Prioritize needs by considering from project scope, budget, and time and weighing priorities according to the needs and objectives of stakeholders.
• Oversee the actual development of the product and works closely with stakeholders to identify and organize the steps required of projects and refine the process, identify areas for improvement, and support the sprint.
• Understand and anticipate the customers’ needs to more effectively manage the development process.
• Act as primary communicator and link between stakeholders and teams to make sure there’s buy in from stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy and clear instructions and deliverables for the developers.
• Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product and inspect and evaluate project progress in order to deliver project on time.
• Initiate or lead the review and redesign of process and procedures, on an ongoing basis, to deliver improved team productivity or efficiency.
• Delivering business and innovative solutions in accordance with customers/users requirements.
• Anticipating business needs and being proactive and taking unsolicited action to achieve business objectives.
• Investigate complex systems problems and other requests for support to determine action required to rectify users’ problems.
• Break down our epic and feature roadmap with our project development team into something that is understandable and deliverable within the agile framework.
• Take responsibility for the product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through to requirements gathering, delivery and testing, deployment working within established agile frameworks.
• Synthesize and drive product vision and platform strategy based on user research and input from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage the release roadmap and backlog for your domain.
• Create clear and detailed epics and user stories and prioritize ruthlessly to deliver outcomes and value.
• Always ask ‘why’ and use data and experimentation to make prioritization decisions.
• Oversee and ensure delivery against our roadmap.
• Understand cross workstream dependencies to reprioritize the order of work to be done.
• Ensure the various Committees have a clear understanding of product and execution priorities and any issues, bugs or otherwise.
• Support product planning across all workstreams and agile ways of working management.
• Report and communicate fluently on all aspects of work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and in public forums.
• Promote and maintain high professional standards whilst delivering value to the business.
• Ability to support the development of a Business Case with defined benefits and costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any fields.
• At least 5 years direct work experience as a project manager that includes managing and implementations of projects.
• Experience in supervising and coaching subordinates.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• Experience in Insurance industry is preferred.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written.
