Assistant Accounting Manager

- Oversee and verify the recording of accounts payable for goods to ensure completeness and accuracy in compliance with accounting standards and the companyâs policies.
- Coordinate, follow up on issues, and propose solutions with related teams such as Operations, Loss Prevention, Buyers, and Suppliers, ensuring accounts payable are recorded accurately and within the specified period.
- Planned and managed payments to suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Plan and oversee month-end and year-end closings and the opening/closing of branches to meet the scheduled deadlines.
- Review workflows and propose improvements to enhance efficiency, modernize processes, and align with organizational changes.
- Set work standards for the team.
- Support the management of the Coaching team and develop workforce planning strategies to motivate employees to achieve higher performance targets.
- Provide support for Big Câs operations both domestically and internationally as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor/Masterâs degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting
- Fluent in English (Communication - writing and speaking)
- Have knowledge in Accounting Standards (IAS, TFRS)
- Ability to work abroad as required
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent in Excel, and PowerPoint.
