Main Purpose of this job

Leading and driving the organization's data strategy, ensuring the effective use of data analytics, big data, machine learning, and AI to support business goals. Collaborates with various departments to develop business intelligence and data-driven solutions, facilitating data discovery, data mining, and predictive analytics to enhance decision-making processes and business performance.

Major Tasks / Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Business Intelligence:

• Drive the creation of robust business intelligence systems to provide insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Develop and implement data analytics solutions that improve business processes and customer experiences.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of data used for business intelligence and decision-making.
  

Big Data & Advanced Analytics:

• Manage the deployment of big data technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities.
• Lead initiatives in big data analytics, ensuring the extraction of valuable insights from large, complex datasets.
• Oversee the implementation of predictive analytics and data discovery techniques to anticipate trends and opportunities.

Machine Learning & AI:

• Guide the development and deployment of machine learning models and AI algorithms for various business applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science to ensure the company remains competitive.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, product development, and operations, to drive data-driven decision-making.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, statistics, or another highly quantitative field, such as machine learning, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid understanding and hands on experience in machine learning and data mining.
• Experience with statistical programming languages and database software
• Good knowledge of data structure and algorithms.
• Sensitive to data and business, passionate about technical challenges, have excellent critical thinking skills.
• Ability to think independently and communicate complex ideas to less technical persons
• Excellent command of English in both verbal and written forms
