THE WORK: Are you ready to be an SME in Internet of Things (IoT) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES), collaborate and manage the team to perform, engage with multiple teams, and contribute on key decisions?   •  Prepare detailed analysis of engineering and manufacturing processes, including site visit, client interviews, current flow validation and development of automated flow charts detailing process steps, hand offs and decision points
  •  Identify engineering and manufacturing cases for improvement and value proposition related to the cases for clients
  •  Develop control strategies and PLC programs following clients’ needs
  •  Recommend and apply automation and automated system implementation to improve production efficiencies, reduce costs, enhance employee safety, and to assure consistent product quality
  •  Provide technical on-site solution support to clients, answering complex questions on function and usage of product
  •  Serve as primary support liaison between company and clients, conveying client feedback to solution development
  •  Maintain a high level of enterprise competence, coordinate development and assignments, including identifying, capturing and sharing engineering and manufacturing expertise
  •  Map the board room to shop floor approach and processes of clients
  •  Lead engineering and manufacturing workstream by delivering accountable tasks on time, within budget and in line with client expectations
  •  Engage specialists in ecosystem as needed to ensure the success of sales opportunity and project delivery
  •  Support practice development activities
  •  Support sales activities and bids

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  •  Master proficiency in IoT Manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  •  Expert proficiency in Automation System Functional Design and Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR)
  •  A Minimum 7 years relevant Instrumentation, Control & Automation design experience, preferably with consultancy experience
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline; electrical, mechatronics, mechanical, industrial or production engineering
  •  Good understanding of the Industry 4.0 transformation & Digital Transformation of the supply chain and manufacturing
  •  Strong industry knowledge in Food & Food Ingredient and/or Industrial manufacturing
  •  Experience in analog and digital design, including system integration conceptual knowledge
  •  Experience in creating process for workload automation, mainframe reports and reconciliation, including troubleshooting and analyzing workload automation processes
  •  Good understanding of automation engineering, industrial control systems, instrumentation and measurement
  •  Ability to work with shop floor people at client sites
  •  Strong skills in developing and presenting clear and concise solution briefings
  •  Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills with both Thai and English required
  •  Good interpersonal and organizational skills

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  •  Experience in SCADA Control Systems, including storing, logging and reporting all data that the SCADA system aggregates using Historian is advantage.
  •  Expert proficiency in SAP related to Manufacturing, Asset Management, Inventory & Warehouse Management
  •  Experience in Design Thinking and Agile approaches with ability to ensure the project success on time and within budget
  •  Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business issues and identify business opportunities and value propositions
