Key Responsibility:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead – Magento Development to lead our development team and deliver exceptional e-commerce solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Technical Leadership:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Magento-based e-commerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Oversee code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of the Magento platform.
• Mentor and guide development teams in best practices, coding standards, and architecture principles.

Solution Design & Development:

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Architect and implement custom Magento modules, extensions, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.

Operations & Maintenance:

• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing existing Magento implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to the Magento platform, including performance, functionality, and security.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in data security and privacy.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as the key technical liaison between the development team and non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate technical decisions, challenges, and progress effectively to senior leadership.
• Support cross-functional teams in developing a cohesive digital strategy.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience (5+ years) with Magento development, including Magento 2.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end and back-end technologies.
• Familiarity with e-commerce integrations such as payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and PIM systems.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and security practices for Magento.

Leadership & Collaboration:

• Demonstrated experience leading a development team or acting as a technical lead.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Magento certification(s) is a plus.
