• Responsible for managing the import process to ensure all imports are handles efficiently and in compliance with international and domestic regulations.
• Supervise for efficient working of import team and day to day operation and manage all communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meet and exceed operational budget within agreed timescales, while improving or maintaining current margin to be achieved by monitoring.
• Analyze Import cost and be involved in setting target with manager.
• Measure and report all operational issues, opportunities, development plan, achievements and providing progress reports to manager on a monthly basis.
• Liaise with freight forwarder and other third parties to ensure timely and accurate import/export process.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customs authorities and other relevant organizations.
• Collaborate and support zone team on project and any new requirement to improve and develop Import & Export business.
• Prepare and submit required reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• You HaveMinimum 4 years managerial experience in import, customs brokerage, or compliance required.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance processes.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce, manage and maintain budget.
• Strong negotiation and entrepreneurship with a positive mindset.
• Good in English communication both speaking and written.
• Proficient in MS Office particular in Excel and Power point.
