• Conduct application portfolio assessments and provide strategic recommendations on modernization priorities and sequencing.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical proposals, solution blueprints, and effort estimations for application modernization projects.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the presales cycle, addressing technical objections and providing expert guidance on AWS best practices.
• Build and demonstrate accelerators, reference implementations, and reusable modernization patterns to shorten customer decision cycles.
• Technical Leadership CollaborationPartner with sales teams to develop account strategies, identify modernization opportunities, and qualify technical requirements for target accounts.

• Cost Estimation Commercial SupportDevelop detailed effort estimates for modernization engagements including assessment, migration, refactoring, testing, and optimization phases.
• Create AWS infrastructure cost models and TCO analyses using AWS Pricing Calculator, Cost Explorer, and third-party tools to support business case development.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and architect solutions with built-in FinOps principles (rightsizing, reserved instances, savings plans, spot instances).
• Education ExperienceBachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in application development, cloud architecture, or DevOps roles with demonstrated progression into presales or solution architecture.
• 3 years of direct experience with AWS services focused on compute, containers, serverless, and application integration.
• Proven track record in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles supporting enterprise customers.
• Technical SkillsDeep expertise in AWS compute services: EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, App Runner, Elastic Beanstalk.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, container registries (ECR).
• Proficiency in serverless architectures and event-driven design patterns using Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS, SNS.
• Experience with application modernization patterns: strangler fig, anti-corruption layer, CQRS, event sourcing, saga pattern.
