- Installation and Configuration: Install and configure PACS hardware and software, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patches to PACS systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PACS-related issues.
- Integration: Work with other IT and clinical staff to integrate PACS with other hospital information systems (HIS/RIS).
- Data Management: Manage and archive medical imaging data, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- User Training: Train end-users (radiologists, technologists, clinicians) on the effective use of PACS and provide ongoing support.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PACS configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with PACS vendors for support, updates, and system enhancements.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure PACS systems comply with healthcare regulations (DICOM, HL7) and implement security measures to protect patient data.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve PACS-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge or experience in medical equipment will be considered a plus.
- Good personality, service-oriented, and high tolerance.
- Willing to travel to different provinces.
- Evaluate, develop, and improve computer systems and programs for optimal efficiency.
- Install computer systems, computer programs as assigned.
- Maintain computer equipment and systems, and make improvements when necessary.
- Provide advice on computer usage and solve user problems.
- Working Conditions:
- This role typically requires working in a healthcare environment, which may include hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers.
- On-call support may be required for after-hours incidents and emergencies.
