• We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Management Owner Representative for our potash mining operations. This role serves as the primary liaison between our organization and external stakeholders, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and mining operations, with a focus on potash.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Analyze project scope and objectives, setting clear milestones and deliverables.
• Partner with EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors and Project Management Consultants to monitor project progress.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Review and evaluate design reports, focusing on assessments of mining resources and reserves.
• Oversee mining mapping for the Nakhon Ratchasima site to ensure accurate representation and planning.
• Work closely with Project Management Consultants for underground mining operations, providing guidance on best practices and site-specific challenges.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure mining operations adhere to industry standards.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal company policies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of compliance requirements specific to potash mining.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Monitor and report on project risks throughout all phases of implementation.
• Continuously assess project performance against defined KPIs and timelines.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress and any areas for improvement..
• Bachelor or Master s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years experience in project management within the mining sector, with a focus on potash operations preferred.
• Understanding of mining processes, underground mining process; potash extraction techniques is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Proficient in project management software and methodologies.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements specific to mining operations.
