Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creating SW-models/functions in Matlab/Simulink for HIL
- Creating SW-function requirements or defining their detailed specifications
- Reviewing and improving of function concepts
- Commissioning tests of SW functions (on the test bench and in the car)
- Analyzing and resolving SW-bugs
- Execute Model in the loop testing based on customer rules / guidelines
- Support functional Testing - Implement DXL, C# scripting for work improvement & Automation
- Report progress daily to Team leader/manager
- Participant in a meeting with customer
- Support other tasks, follow the test leader or assigned manager's instructions
- Recommending ideas to improve test process Work as a member of the global team
Key Behaviors:
- Excellent education Qualification as a Technician in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or in comparable areas.
- 3 - 7 years of work experience in the Automotive fields is an advantage.
- Experience in Model based development with MATLAB / Simulink
- Experience in develop and debug software in C/C++
- Experience in Microcontroller development and testing
- Experience in DXL, C# Scripting
- Experience in Model in the loop testing (MIL Testing)
- Experience in Requirement analysis
- Experience in Agile Methodolgy is an advantage
- Experience in IBM DOORS is an advantage
- Very systematic approach, attention to detail, and good problem solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, independent way of working and high ability to work in a team
2) HIL Testing
- Strong experience in test automation using CAPL script, vTestStudio.
- Knowledge of SW flashing, calibration, and debugger tools (like INCA, Lauterbach Debugger)
- Knowledge of Automotive SDLC, ASPICE and ISO26262 standards.
- Good exposure in understanding and analyzing the system and software requirements, flowcharts, state machines.
- Developing and maintaining test suites, test cases and test specifications, test scripts.
- Effort estimation, test automation and execution according to test plan.
- Independently debug the failures, analyze, and document the test results. Active communication and collaboration with engineering functions, software development, hardware development, and project management, to ensure that testing needs and deliveries are met
3) V&V Testing
- Analyze and understand ECU functional requirements
- Create a test case/scenario to validate the ECU requirements and
- Execute the test on the HIL environment
- Create test report with analysis of fail results
- Report test results to team and customer via e-mail or regular scrum meetings
- Perform peer review test results with other team members
- Develop inhouse tools to support test execution
- Support other tasks, follow the test leader or assigned manager's instructions
- Recommending ideas to improve test process
- Work as a member of the global team Key Attributes
- Excellent education with professional qualifications in the field of Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineer or other related fields - 0 to 3 years of experience in the automotive or Software Testing fields is required
- Good understanding of testing concepts, practical experience working with HiL systems (dSpace systems preferred)
- Experience in design and development of Functional Tests
- Good know-how about Automotive Communication Protocols, specifically CAN.
- Automotive Domain preferred, able to understand Simulink models, need not have working experience in Simulink
- Proficiency in CAPL and Python programming to control CAN message is preferred
- Working knowledge of CAN frame and CAN transmission e.g. Acknowledge bit, CheckSum
- Working knowledge of Electric motor or Charging system is an advantage
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits, components, and instruments is an advantage
- Experience working in a TEAM with go-getter attitude
- Good English Skills. German language skills will be advantage.
- Solution-oriented, analytical thinking and good communication skills.
- ISTQB Certification (Basic Level) would be added advantage
4) Exterior Lighting Design Engineer (Mechanical)
- 7 to 12 years of experience in Design and development of exterior (Front, Rear and Center) lighting using Catia V5
- Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements & integration with vehicle
- Good Knowledge in lighting Regulation management
- Lighting visibility check and suggestion for optimization
- Experience in designing Lamp housing, Heatsink, 2K Lens, light blades, Bezels, Base plates Lamp assemblies.
- Hands on experience in DFA, DFM evaluations for Metal Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation
- Integration of electrical PCB’s, connectors with space optimization techniques
- Knowledge on thermal, mechanical and defogging requirements for lamps
- 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
- Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system
- Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements
5) Plastic Design Engineer (Mechanical)
- 7 to 12 years of working experience with OEM programs on Electrical and electronic component integration like ECU, Camera, Speaker, Switches, dashboard meters
- Conducting studies on Meter, Audio visibility , Reflection simulation
- Working in plastic and sheetmetal design using Catia V5 & Catia V6
- Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements
- Performing Modal and vibration simulation using Catia simulation tool or using Ansys mechanical
- Conducting DFA, DFM evaluations for sheet metal, Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation
- Collecting structural simulations requirements & OEM Location
- 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
- Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system
- Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements
6) EE Integration Engineer (Mechanical)
- 7 to 12 years of working experience with OEM programs on Rear and Front view Camera, Radars, sensors
- Conducting Camera and Radar FOV studies and location optimization
- Working in plastic and sheetmetal design using Catia V5 & Catia V6
- Concept developments, Analytical calculations on design requirements
- Performing Modal and vibration simulation using Catia simulation tool or using Ansys mechanical
- Conducting DFA, DFM evaluations for sheet metal, Plastic parts, Gap and Flush, Tolerance calculation
- 2D drawings creation for mechanical parts with suitable tolerance scheme.
- Experience in release of 3D and 2D in PLM system
- Working with Tier-1/OEM team for acceptance, release & improvements
