Why we need you
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help us grow our Opn team. The Opn team is based in Thailand, building Opn products that will be used by corporate clients around the world. These enterprise services and solutions will vary from project to project but will primarily revolve around Payment solution, FinTech and Payment platforms.
What you will do
- Work in an agile/scrum environment, meeting sprint commitments and contributing to the agile process
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Plan, create and execute testing strategies to help find errors and propose effective solutions
- Ensure the right level of test activities perform along with product design/implementation
- Define necessary test automation, design automation flow and share implementation effort with development engineer
- Assist the team to tackle cross-platform engineering challenges and contribute creative ideas to improve the quality of the product
- Design, develop & contribute to the enhancements of automation frameworks and infrastructure
- Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience as QA Engineer/Tester/Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test
- Experience in performing testing of Web app, and Backend API's to ensure that product meets requirements
- Experience with building and writing automation scripts and/or programs using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Robotframework, Rest-Assured, etc.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to effectively communicate within a team
- Good writing and communication skills in English
- Good conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem-solving skills
- Experience in FinTech technology and financial services is plus
- Experience in Java programing language is a plus
- Experience in Selenium/Rest-Assured is a plus
- The ability to code in any programing language is a plus
