JOB SUMMARY

Siam Piwat Xponential is building a tech team to expand our ONESIAM SuperApp business. We are looking for QA Engineers, who are passionate about Mobile App and API automation and performance testing to deliver software products with quality and reliability, having extensive technical knowledge and experience in software testing tools and techniques, to drive our next generation features across our new digital business platforms. QA Engineers must take ownership and pride in their work for testing applications in digital platform environment with high quality standards within the committed delivery timeline. The ideal candidates for this role should demonstrate solid software testing principles and work with excellent communication, self-management, and problem-solving skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases and perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. Clearly communicate issues to the development team and collaborate to resolve them.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools. Continuously improve test automation processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ensure that all testing activities are properly documented and easily accessible.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements, provide feedback, and address quality-related concerns.
• Contribute to the improvement of the software development process by providing suggestions for process enhancements, quality assurance best practices, and tools evaluation.
• Monitor system performance and analyze test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.
• Assess the test coverage and identify areas that require additional testing or improvement to ensure maximum software quality.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a QA engineer or similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience in modern software testing tools for Mobile UI and API automations including performance testing.

Required Skills/Abilities :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) to develop and maintain test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
