Business Development Manager - Medical Devices

- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within the medical device sector.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities by networking with healthcare professionals, industry stakeholders, and potential customers.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads through various channels, including conferences, trade shows, and direct outreach.
- Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors to foster loyalty and drive repeat business.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and clinical teams to align on product positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers and partners to ensure profitable business arrangements.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance to uphold company standards and customer expectations.
- Analyze sales metrics and prepare regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and progress toward targets.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or product management within the medical device industry.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and building successful partnerships.
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations, market dynamics, and healthcare ecosystems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
