Position Summary:
Performs a variety of HR activities. Partners with, and builds strong relationships with, leaders and key decision makers in relevant functions/divisions to optimize business success through HR initiatives. Takes a holistic approach to analyze HR issues, resolve problems and propose solutions. May investigate, mediate, and resolve employee and labor relations issues. May represent the organization in contract and labor negotiations. May provide coaching and counsel to business leaders, managers and employees. Brings best practice and external perspectives to strategic and operational business discussions and people management decision-making. Applies general understanding of all areas of human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, HRIS, equal opportunity and diversity, data analysis, etc. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends. Develops, implements and ensures the ongoing effectiveness of all internal processes and systems; develops and executes an efficient infrastructure that can deliver HR services consistently, responsively and cost effectively. Ensures efficiency and accuracy of HR processes and transactions. This discipline may accommodate 1) jobs whose accountabilities span two or more job disciplines within the job family; 2) jobs that are not covered by a defined discipline within the job family.
What you bring to the role:
Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function. Manages large projects or processes. Limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
Provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. May be the in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area. Complete understanding and wide application of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts in a specialized field.
Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions.
Goals are provided to the incumbent in form of desired results. Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues.
Possess the strongest of skills acquired through advanced training, study and experience. Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field). Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.
Human Resources Business Partner – Payroll & Talent Acquisition
Payroll
- Oversee and manage payroll procedures, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure the proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries.
- Ensure all payroll activities and records comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
HR Operations and Project Management
- Support daily HR operations and ensure the smooth running of all HR projects.
- Coordinate and manage ad hoc HR projects as needed, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align HR strategy with business goals.
Talent Acquisition
- Talent Acquisition by achieving staffing objectives, end-to-end recruitment and hiring process, evaluating job candidates, and using traditional and new sourcing methodology to find top talent.
- Provide timely day-to-day HR advice and support to hiring managers about the recruitment and selection process and on-boarding / induction.
- Manpower planning, budgeting, and Analytical manpower provide a strategy for long term pipeline
- To provide HR advice and support in managing/developing the human capital to meet the present and future business goals and sustainability.
- To assist Sr. HR Manager and work closely with HRBP (C&B) on the compensation & benefit, performance management activities, determining and analyzing the company’s training needs, developing, coordinating, and administering training plans and activities.
- Drive Internal and External branding through a recruitment strategy
- Assistance with shortlisting of candidates and preparing for and arranging interviews as required, conducting reference checks when required
- Onboard new employees to become fully integrated and ensure the employee onboarding experience of new employees is adhered to and employees are inducted and oriented appropriately.
- Work closely with the HRIS, Administration, IT, and Corporate Services teams to make onboarding arrangements.
- Initiate and manage Employee Relations and engagement activities, and internal communications.
- Other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned from time to time and assist in other Human Resource functions as assigned by Sr. HR Manager
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Studies or equivalent
- At least 3 – 7 years of experience in a business partnering role in an IT industrial, MNC or high-performing HR environment will be added advantage.
- Well versed with current HR practices and sound knowledge of Employment Act / Industrial Relations Act and other employment statutory requirements. Knowledge of another country’s statutory will be added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with teams and build effective working relationships is a must.
- Mature, dynamic, and tactful personality with strong leadership & people management skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
