Manager, Strategic Partnerships & Special Projects-Partnerships
atLazada (Thailand) Co., Ltd.Key Responsibilities:
- Establish new business relationships with potential partners to create mutually beneficial arrangements and develop new business opportunities based on organizational needs, goals, and existing partnerships. This includes initiating discussions and planning partnership proposals.
- Develop and manage long-term relationships with existing partners to increase sales opportunities and promote the partnership to customers and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, demonstrating strong business acumen and contract negotiation skills.
- Utilize data analysis and market research to identify opportunities and make recommendations for new partnerships in existing markets or for developing new markets for products or services.
- Manage cross-functional projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and evaluation. Continually review processes, implement improvements for maximum efficiency, and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive results.
- Oversee the entire operation of the Lazada e-gift card, including sales and marketing planning, execution, partner management, and operational tasks.
- Lead sales pitches and manage communications to effectively present e-gift card offerings and partnership opportunities.
- Provide monthly performance reviews, analyzing partnership performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management & making recommendations for improvement.
- Guide and manage one team member, providing suggestions and support to drive operations and business growth.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably in business development, partnership management, market research, or similar roles in a technology company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnerships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments (both local & regional) and with external corporate partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Thai, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners.
- High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Passionate, proactive, and capable of handling uncertainty and ambiguity.
