- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential development opportunities in the real estate sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, real estate brokers, investors, and other key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and evaluate potential development sites based on market trends, financial feasibility, and strategic fit with the companyâs objectives.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling business proposals, including financial models, to secure new property development projects.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, purchase agreements, and joint venture partnerships, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, construction) to coordinate due diligence, permitting, financing, and development activities.
- Sales and Marketing Support: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for selling and leasing developed properties, ensuring optimal market penetration and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Development, Finance, or a related field. A Masterâs degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications (e.g., CCIM - Certified Commercial Investment Member) can be advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the real estate or property development industry.
- Proven track record of identifying and successfully securing property development opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex agreements and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in financial analysis, including creating and interpreting financial models related to property development projects.
