Job Title: Operations Worker – HIPPO (High Impact Plastic Pollution Remover)

Location: Chao Phraya River, Thailand

Working Days: 5 days a week

Seven Clean Seas is committed to tackling the plastic pollution crisis, and we’re seeking an Operations Worker to join our team in Thailand. This role is focused on assisting with the operations of our High Impact Plastic Pollution Remover (HIPPO) located in the Chao Phraya River.

Job Overview:
We are looking for an energetic, proactive, and hands-on Operations Worker to support the daily activities of our HIPPO. The successful candidate will assist with manual tasks, problem-solving, and ensure that the equipment is running smoothly. Basic English skills are a plus, but not required. The role is crucial in maintaining the operation and ensuring the success of our mission to reduce plastic pollution in the Chao Phraya River.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and assist in the daily maintenance of the HIPPO.
• Perform manual tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning equipment, and supporting the operations team.
• Identify and solve problems that may arise during operations to keep things running smoothly.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the worksite and equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with other operational tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manual labor or hands-on work is preferred.
• Proactive, problem-solving attitude.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to work 5 days a week on-site at the HIPPO.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
