Job Summary
The Site Expert and Trainer (SET) is a virtual role based at plants support both plants include Co-Manufacturing. The SET is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all technical aspects concerning their chosen field of expertise. The core function(s) of the role are to assist the business in delivering its productivity agenda and obtain the company’s SET certificated to coverage Site Expert and Trainer with which will help to develop technical team knowledge & skills and capabilities, maintain Suntory PepsiCo standards & deliver KPI targets, while it’s not recommended to have same person certified in more than one platform, there may be exceptions based on specific requirements.

Job responsibilities :

• Assist the factory to deliver KPI targets align with SBF Monozukuri Way and Kaizen policies, maintain Suntory PepsiCo standards for Safety, Quality & Performance.
• Provide support to the plant management in effectively running the Blow, fill and Packaging departments, manage / support all site-based productivity projects, new line commissioning activities, new product launches, etc. as the technical expert.
• Consult to review document and activities such as SOP, WI, OPL, MOC, maintenance standard and Overhaul activity.
• Setup new procedure and method for new product, SKUs and operation change.
• Perform machine troubleshoot / breakdown versus actions to ensure that all roots cause was analyzed with actions verified. And Initiates machine improvement and corrective action in the processing line and production process to eliminate or prevent repeated machine breakdown.
• Maintain and develop SPBT work process standards, assessment, sustain continuous improvement machines to ensure machines are running in good condition and Preventive Maintenance on required.
• Gemba line audit to keep machine good condition and operation under safety, food safety and basic maintenance. Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in technical term and prevention recurrent issue and improvement OEE performance.
• Provide and share best practice and training to cross sites to develop people knowledge and skills depends on requests or assignments.
• Build technical capability through technician & operator training certification, development SPBT Schools, conducting site training programs and developing pipeline Local Expert and Trainer (LET).

Skill and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering is preferred).
• Working knowledge of Beverage PET manufacturing process and Packaging line experience in Blow Mold and/or Filling Machine at least 5 years.
• Successfully completed operator training conducted by plant SET / Specialist in respective discipline.
• Demonstrates a high level of technical competency, good communication skills and ability to influence others, leadership and coaching skills, methodical approach to trouble shoot and solve performance opportunities.
• Good understanding of manufacturing of Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Kaizen, Gemba, Spare Part Management, and People plan.
• Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word, AutoCAD and ERP).
• Sufficient English language skills (reading, writing, verbal communication).
• Able to travel as required.
