Responsibilities

• Working closely with the cross-functional team including and not limited to Creative, Production, Post Production, Finance, and Legal Executives as well as Producers and Showrunners across the lifespan of multiple series and films in different states of pre-production, production, and post-production
• Analyzing scripts, developing VFX breakdowns, budgets, and schedules, and providing recommendations and feedback on VFX's scope of work and feasibility
• Managing all aspects of the show budget, including accurate projections, and helping maintain a weekly reporting system for transparency of progress with cross-functional partners
• Improving VFX department workflows via technical understanding of the VFX process including 4K pipelines, HDR deliveries as well as emerging technologies, based on department needs
• Advancing VFX department workflow internationally in order to promote efficiency and transparency that supports the overall business goals of Netflix
• Building new and maintaining existing relationships with vendors/talent in the region
• Liaise between vendors, crew, and internal teams to improve cross-vertical information flow

Requirements

• 7-10 years' production and post-production experience, with at least 5 years' experience in any of the following - VFX Production features or series, streaming, and, or games
• Has a strong understanding of VFX workflow and pipeline, and is familiar with production software such as Shotgun, Filemaker as well a Google Suite
• Possess working knowledge of third-party VFX facilities DI/finishing facilities
• Has strong organizational skills; is efficient and detail-oriented and can supervise several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery)
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced collaborative environment and has the ability to navigate constant changes
• Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and is proactive and creative in solving problems
• Passionate about the Netflix culture and values and can embrace and advocate for inclusion, demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and intelligence
• Fluency in Mandarin, Thai, and Bahasa is an advantage
• Some international travel expected
