Introduction
IBM Systems Lab Services is looking for highly motivated individuals with knowledge of IBM Power Systems technology to be Technical Consultants. Individuals will be responsible for developing in-depth technical solutions to address customers' most complex issues. The candidate should have a strong understanding of IBM's Power product portfolio, expert consultative knowledge on a wide array of Power technologies including AIX and PowerVM. The applicant should have experience with AIX performance management.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Additional hands-on experience with AIX performance tuning and other IBM technologies such as PowerHA and Linux on Power is a plus. Candidate with experience in Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible implementation on IBM Power will have additional advantage.
This position requires that the candidate demonstrate client-facing communications skills; demonstrate individual planning and project management skills; flexibility and a willingness to work in a self-driven environment
Job Requirements

• Experience in design solution and present to customer such as IBM PowerVM, IBM PowerHA, GPFS, Vmware, IBM Cloud PowerVC Solution, IBM AIX migration solution, Backup Solution for IBM AIX, IBM AI, HCI, Redhat OpenShift, Disaster Recovery solution.
• Experience in POC setup and demo to customer such as IBM PowerVM, IBM PowerHA, GPFS, Vmware, IBM Cloud Manager with OpenStack, Redhat OpenShift, IBM AIX migration solution, Backup Solution for IBM AIX, IBM AI and HCI.
• Experience in IBM Power Systems and System Storage training (Instructor and Speaker) such as IBM Power Systems with AIX, IBM PowerVM, IBM PowerVC,IBM Storwize Storage (V7K,V5K,FS), IBM AI, HCI, Redhat OpenShift, IBM Private Public Hybrid Cloud.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related subjects)
• At least 8 years of experience in AIX

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 8 years of experience in IBM Power Systems
