Head of Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead technical initiatives
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring seamless execution, high quality, and timely delivery.
• Provide hands-on guidance as a full-stack developer, contributing directly to our innovative projects.
• Mentor and lead a team of engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring the team's success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, aligning technical efforts with our business objectives.
• Thrive in a startup environment, embracing agility, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with hands-on experience in building backends and frontends and deploying to the cloud.
• Proven track record as a full stack developer, demonstrating expertise in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Hands-on experience with the following technologies, frameworks and languages: Cloud Engineering (AWS, GCP, etc.), Kubernetes, Docker, Python (Django or FastAPI, etc.), Javascript Frameworks (React.js or Vue.js, etc.) in a startup setting.
• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams in a startup environment.
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for technology innovation.
• Willingness to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand, and work in a multicultural environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to fluently communicate and comprehend high-level spoken and written concepts in English
