As a DevOps Engineer at Simplesat, you will be instrumental in managing our AWS environment, ensuring it is highly available, cost-effective, and secure while maintaining top performance. You will play a crucial role in automating our operations and enhancing our deployment processes in alignment with DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline our operations and processes to improve deployment frequency and more reliable releases.
• Build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems.
• Manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies.
• Work alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services in AWS cloud services.
• Configure and manage container clusters in Amazon ECS.
• Ensure critical system security through the use of best in class cloud security solutions.
• Manage, support, and optimize Docker container configurations.
• Oversee automated scripts for health, performance monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and customer needs, advising on infrastructure scalability and stability.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in managing Linux-based systems and AWS cloud services, focusing on automation, monitoring, and scalability.
• Proven experience in DevOps environments, utilizing CI/CD frameworks with Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Skilled in scripting languages and infrastructure as code to improve system reliability and developer productivity.
• Experience with microservices architectures using tools like React JS, Typescript, and Python.
• Knowledge of message queuing and message brokers.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or a related field, with at least 3 years focused on automating and optimizing AWS environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale infrastructure with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead projects, managing the full lifecycle with minimal supervision, and effectively collaborating in a distributed team environment.
