Job Summary :

The IT Certification Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating IT certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, and CSA STAR. This role involves leading projects to acquire new certifications, liaising with regulatory bodies and auditors, conducting gap assessments, and ensuring compliance readiness. The specialist will manage document control procedures and work closely with technology and business stakeholders to address compliance issues, ensuring that all relevant personnel are aware of compliance processes.

Job Description :

• Maintain and update certifications for IT standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 22301, ISO 27701, CSA STAR).
• Lead projects to acquire new standards or certifications (e.g., Uptime Tier Certificates, SOC2 Type 2 Reports).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to manage compliance processes.
• Conduct gap assessments, compliance readiness evaluations, and compliance monitoring.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to address compliance issues.
• Manage document control procedures for maintaining valid management system documentation.
• Ensure awareness and understanding of compliance processes among relevant personnel.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing IT certifications and compliance programs. - Strong knowledge of IT standards and regulations (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27701).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead certification projects.
• Experience working with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
• Strong analytical skills for conducting gap assessments and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in relevant fields (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
