IT Asset Control Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Ensure proper control of assets and purchase requests in DTS Bangkok and assist the APAC Regional team. Support the cluster head in operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Asset Control

• Manage IT Asset Management for Bangkok and coordinate with other ACO offices in the APAC region.

• Oversee and manage operations related to IT assets, including administrative activities.

• Create and follow up on incident cases related to IT Asset Management.

• Handle the decommissioning of IT assets at the end of their life cycle.

• Coordinate with vendors for delivery and manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate and assist the IT Support team in various tasks.
• Conduct regular audits of IT assets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement and maintain asset tracking systems to improve efficiency.

• Budget Control Assistance

• Assist in budget analysis during budget forecasting.
• Plan and manage volume and budget related to IT costs.
• Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

• Documentation

• Handle expense claims, financial tracking, and billing.
• Provide daily and weekly stock updates.
• Maintain asset and cost control through monthly reports.
• Prepare related documents for assigned tasks.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset management and budget control.

• SAP/Coupa

• Ensure all purchase requests are accurately entered and tracked in the system.
• Liaise with the procurement team to resolve any issues related to purchase orders.

• Operational Coordination

• Coordinate with the Field Support team for tech refresh planning and execution.
• Ensure timely and efficient execution of operational tasks.

Relevant Work Experience:

• Basic knowledge and experience in asset control.

• Proficiency in IT Asset Management tools and software.

• Some experience in computer security.
• Basic knowledge of PC hardware, software, and IT inventory management.
• Proficiency in SAP and Coupa systems is highly regarded.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
