Responsibilities:
System Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle applications, databases, and integrations.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and stability.
Maintenance and Upgrades
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patching, system backups, and recovery operations.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with Oracle support and vendors to apply fixes, patches, and updates as needed.
Development and Customization
- Customize Oracle applications to meet specific business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational standards.
- Create and manage database objects, such as tables, views, indexes, and triggers, to support system requirements.
User Support and Training
- Assist end-users with technical issues and provide training on Oracle system features and functionalities.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with users to ensure successful implementation of system changes.
Qualification:
Education
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle system support, development, or a related technical role.
- Proven experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, including support, maintenance, and customization.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, including the ability to write and debug complex scripts and procedures.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, modules, and integration points.
