Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries.
• Generate customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Process customer payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.
• Assist in preparing and filing various tax returns, including sales tax, VAT, and other regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a focus on AP, AR, and tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
