Position : Data Modeler

Design, develop and maintain data models to meet the needs of the organization's information systems and business requirements; communicates with other teams on the development of data models.

Responsibilities

• Planning for collection method, data cleansing, and normalization & persistence of enterprise data to support decision making and reporting.
• Coordinate and develop data models, dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications and teams - AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Scientists.
• Working with data transformation teams to ensure that the model design and development is properly communicated.
• Developing policies and procedures related to development and support of new and ongoing systems to ensure the integrity of data.
• Design, maintain and ensure continuous improvement for data models used across the organization's data lakes and data warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in data modeling tools preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data structure optimization. Financial industry experience preferred.
• Expertise in data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio), SQL, understanding of database architecture, normalization techniques. Experience with cloud databases.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, data modeling, and optimization. Experience with service blueprints, customer journey mapping, and persona development.
