Position : Data Architect

A Data Architect(s) is an individual who will to define and design the data architecture framework for modern data platforms, define information governance policies, standards and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, reference data providing options with respect to end state data architecture and implementation of processes and DG technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designing database architecture and topologies, enterprise's data models of applications, integration, data warehouse applications, ETL process and business intelligence reports through the use of best practices and tools.
• Conduct high quality review related to outcomes including ETL processes, data warehouse designs and data system enhancements in accordance with existing standards and guidelines.
• Resolving data architecture routine related issues with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches.
• Analyzing data architecture related business needs, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on the future of data architecture developments.
• Gathering data requirements e.g. data interfacing guidelines, to facilitate continuous data management throughout the data lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and cloud-based data management.
• Experience in financial institutions is a plus.
• Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and cloud platforms. Experience with data governance and tools like Erwin, Power Designer.
• Extensive knowledge of data governance, data management frameworks, and integration processes. Knowledge of service optimization and stakeholder mapping.
